Robert Abercromby (3 June 1884 - 9 December 1961) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life[edit]
His father was the artist John Brown Abercromby, his mother was the artist Jessie Ramage. They married on 19 April 1877 in Edinburgh.
Robert Clarence Abercromby was born on 3 June 1884 at 17 Torphichen Street in St. George Parish in Edinburgh.
Art[edit]
Death[edit]
He died on 9 December 1961 at the City Hospital in Edinburgh. The death certificate stated the cause of death was right hand lobe pneumonia, 4 days; myocardial infarction, 1 day.[3]
The funeral was on 12 December 1961 at Warriston Crematorium Cloister Chapel.[4]
