William Marshall Brown (3 January 1863 - 24 April 1936) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was George Brown (19 March 1836 - 25 June 1917) from Glasgow.
His mother was Christian Marshall (c. 1839 - 17 December 1915). They married on 23 December 1858 in Edinburgh.
William Marshall Brown was born on 18 March 1878 in Portobello, Edinburgh.
He married May Brown Robertson (5 March 1887 - 18 January 1868) from Leith.

He died at 41 York Place, Edinburgh on 24 April 1936.
The value of his estate was given as: £619, 8 shillings and 4 pence.
