John Knox Ferguson (31 October 1856 - 12 April 1909) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was William Ferguson (born c. 1828), a blacksmith from Edinburgh.
His mother was Mary Ann Low (born c. 1829) from Edinburgh.
James Knox Ferguson was born on 31 October 1856 in Edinburgh.
He married Annie Alice Houghton (born 21 July 1860) from Notting Hill in London. They married on 4 April 1889 in Edinburgh.

He died on 12 April 1909 at his home in 36 George Street, Edinburgh.
He was buried on 14 April 1909 in Warriston cemetery, Edinburgh.
