Henrietta Anne Hoare (3 November 1763 - 5 September 1841) was a Scottish painter.

Life

Her father was Sir Richard Hoare (7 March 1734 – 11 October 1787), 1st Baronet of Barn Elms. He was a partner in the bank C. Hoare & Co.

Her mother was Frances Anne Acland (c. 1800 - 10 September 1800).

Henrietta Anne Hoare was born on 3 November 1763 in St. Dunstan in the West parish in London.

She married Sir Thomas Dyke Acland (18 April 1752 – 17 May 1794).

After Thomas died, she remarried. On 6 June 1795 she married Captain Matthew Fortescue (1754–1842) of the Royal Navy.

Art

Known for her art when she moved to Edinburgh.

Death

She died at the Manor House, Beckenham in Kent, England on 2 September 1841.
