David Goodfellow (22 November 1871 - 23 May 1941) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life[edit]

His father was David Martin Goodfellow (c. 1849 - 19 July 1910), a baker from Lochee in Angus.

His mother was Mary Shearer (c. 1851 - 12 July 1883) from Cargill in Perthshire. David Martin and Mary married on 27 July 1869 in Dundee.

David Goodfellow was born on 22 November 1871 in Lochee, Angus. Like his father he became a baker.

He married Mary Steven (23 April 1868 - 18 December 1950) on 23 October 1900 in Broughty Ferry.

Art[edit]

He was a member of the Dundee Art Society.

Death[edit]

He died on 23 May 1941 in Dundee. The cause of death was noted as appendicitis and peritonitis.
