Jessie Dickson Gray (6 April 1865 - 25 March 1930) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life[edit]

Her father was George Gray (16 December 1833 - 31 December 1909), an artist from Galashiels.

Her mother was Ann Young Scott (22 February 1835 - 26 December 1909) from Earlston. George and Ann married on 7 January 1862 in Kirkcaldy, Fife.

Jessie Dickson Gray was born on 6 April 1865 in Kirkcaldy.[3][4]

She married David Brown Dott (c. 1852 - 1941).

Death[edit]

She died on 25 March 1930 at Ravenslea, Musselburgh. The funeral was at Inveresk church on 28 March 1930.[5] She is buried in St. Michael's churchyard, Inveresk.[6]
