Edward Stroud Harrison (30 March 1879 - 8 May 1979) was a Scottish painter and woollen manufacturer.[1][2]

Life

His father was George Harrison (19 June 1843 - 7 October 1900), a clothier from Edinburgh.

His mother was Emma Anne Paton (10 October 1848 - 8 February 1933) from London. George and Emma were married at Emma's parent's house at Rose Bank, Kinmonth in Perthshire on 5 June 1872. It was a double marriage that day; her brother Edward was married at the same place and date.

Edward Stroud Harrison was born on 30 March 1879 in Edinburgh.

He married Jean Harrison (1884 - 1978), the daughter of John Harrison (17 August 1847 - 10 July 1922), a merchant tailor. They married on 23 June 1908 in Edinburgh.

He died on 8 May 1979 in The Bield, Elgin.
