Archibald Williamson Hogg (3 March 1864 - 28 January 1908) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life[edit]

His father was William Hogg (born c. 1834), a clothier from Yetholm in Roxburghshire.

His mother was Lilias Williamson (c. 1836 - 27 October 1912) from Dumfries. William and Lilias married on 31 December 1861 in Edinburgh.

Archibald Williamson Hogg was born on 3 March 1864 in Edinburgh.

Death[edit]

He died on 28 January 1908 in Edinburgh. The funeral was on 30 January 1908 at Morningside Cemetery.[3]
