Lilias Adam (1926 - 14 January 1978) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life[edit]

Her father was Thomas Adam.

Her mother was Isabella Hodge. Thomas and Isabella married in Perth on 10 April 1925. Thomas was the youngest son of the Adams of East Lamberkin, Perth. Isabella was the youngest daughter of Mrs Hodge of 8 Alexandra Street, Perth.[3]

Lilias Margaret Adam was born in Perth in 1926.

She married George Frederick Houston in Perth in 1950.

They had children Eirene, Tom and Katherine.[4]

She died in Glasgow on 14 January 1978.[5]
