Shand Campbell Hutchison (17 August 1920 - 25 April 2015) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life[edit]
His father was Thomas Shand Hutchison (13 January 1884 – 4 June 1961) from North Berwick, East Lothian.
His mother was Jane Knox Small (6 August 1891 – c.1985) from Dalkeith in Midlothian. Thomas and Jane married on 23 September 1919 in Edinburgh.
Shand Campbell Hutchison was born on 17 August 1920 in the Buccleuch estate on the River Esk near Dalkeith.[3]
He married Jane Ruth Wilson (8 May 1929 – 13 September 2021) from Melrose. They married in Edinburgh in 1954.
