Charles George Jefferson (c. 1831 - 27 October 1902) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Francis Jefferson (1778 - c. 1847), a ship owner from South Shields.
Charles George Jefferson was born c. 1832 in South Shields, Tyne and Wear in England.
He married Selina Toshach (10 September 1833 - 10 April 1905) from South Shields. They married in July 1864 in South Shields.
They had a daughter Selina Sophia Jefferson (5 October 1865 - January 1873) from Glasgow. She died young in South Shields.
