Henry Wright Kerr (20 February 1857 - 17 February 1936) was a Scottish painter.^[1]^[2]

Life[edit]

His father was Henry Kerr (born c. 1825) from Loanhead.

His mother was Fanny Maitland Wright (7 November 1823 - 13 February 1900) from Lasswade. This was Henry's second wife. Henry and Fanny married on 13 July 1854 in Leith, Edinburgh.

Henry Wright Kerr was born on 20 February 1857 in Edinburgh.

Death[edit]

He died on 17 February 1936 in Edinburgh. His usual address was 18 York Place. The value of his estate was given as £19,383, 4 shillings and 8 pence. An additional estate was valued at £886 and 8 pence.

He is buried in Dean cemetery No. 2 in Edinburgh.
