Charles Arthur Lodder (c. 1820 - 30 August 1885) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life[edit]

Charles Arthur Lodder was born c.1820 from Halifax in England.[3]

His wife was Elizabeth Harriote Ronald (25 February 1821 - 18 October 1904) from Halifax. They married on 20 November 1851 in St. John's Church, Richmond, Surrey[4]

Their son, the artist Charles Lodder, was born on 17 June 1856 in Edinburgh.[5][6]
