John Howard Lyon (3 May 1877 - 17 February 1921) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was John Howard Lyon [Snr] (1847 - 15 October 1888), a lithographic printer from Cumbria.
His mother was Mary Ann Wilson (1851 - 29 May 1930) from Falkirk. John and Mary married on 13 August 1872 in Edinburgh.
John Howard Lyon was born on 3 May 1877 in Newington, Edinburgh.
He married Rosalind Horwood (5 November 1891 - 25 December 1977) from Killin in Perthshire. They married in 1914 in Killin.
