Charles James McCall (24 February 1907 - 3 October 1989) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life

His father was William McCall (born c. 1872), a jeweller from Edinburgh.

His mother was Catherine Keith (born c. 1873) from Knockinnon in Caithness. William and Catherine married in 1897 in Edinburgh. They had 3 sons:- William (born 1898) and John (born 1900).

Charles James McCall was born in Edinburgh on 24 February 1907.[3]

He married Eloise Jerwood Ward (5 December 1916 - 2003). They married in 1946.

Death

He died on 3 October 1989 in Westminster, London, England. His usual address was 1A Caroline Terrace. His estate was valued at £108,773.[5]
