[edit]

Daisy McGlashan Anderson was born in Hexham on 29 October 1910.[3]

Her father was William Smith Anderson (c. 1878 - July 1929); her mother was Daisy Agnes McGlashan (5 June 1879 - 17 August 1968). They had married on 28 September 1909.

Daisy's younger sister Agnes Violet Anderson was born in 1911.
