I'm a freelance writer, translator (Spanish<> English), and editor. I've decided to participate in editing Wikipedia because the availability of accurate, clear information is important to me. I also hold a degree in horticulture and like to contribute to/edit pages about plants, especially ornamental and medicinal plants.

"Aegis" refers to the shield of the Greek goddess of wisdom, Athena (Greek mythology is a minor interest of mine).
Personal Philosophy[edit]
Making rational decisions requires one to consider all available, relevant information. Seeking to discover, provide, clarify, and disseminate accurate and important information is, therefore, a rational pursuit, and one that improves the world one lives in.
A Note[edit]
I am currently receiving a stipend for learning to edit Wikipedia. This functions similarly to a flexible internship; I am getting paid to learn about editing Wikipedia and research my own interests.
