Introduction[edit]

I'm from San Diego. I originally created this for Wikimedia Commons, as I am an amateur photographer. I spend most of my time over there. I will also aid with grammar corrections and update articles dealing with California establishments and Landmarks (i.e. transit systems, radio stations, etc.) on Wikipedia (mostly).

For better or for worse, you can add San Diego's transit systems to that list.

In addition, I strive to find the best sources to improve reliability. Most edits will be minor edits, but proposed major edits on or after February 1, 2019 will be placed in the sandbox, under a section for that related article. I will also be creating some userboxes, the list is under contributions.

I originally started under Theofficialtsc, but that username was soon met with resistance from Swarm. Rebranding was the only solution from the indefinite block due to a policy on usernames, particularly corporate ones. Therefore, this account simply isn't a fresh start, but rebranded from another username. I have since used this handle on many of my social media channels.

If you have any further questions or concerns, visit my user talk page and leave a message there. Thank you. ~~AirTSC~~{talk}

List of Contributions[edit]

I have contributed to the following:

  • Rapid (San Diego) Major edits in January 2019 in order to update the article from July 2015, proposed edits and citations can be found in the sandbox when found. Most of the contributors only editied certain segments, and/or the infobox prior to these long-awaited updates. To avoid Conflict of Interest, future contributions will be minor edits, source citation additions.
  • A grammar correction on a Bakersfield radio station (Energy 95.3) holding the callsign KLLY. When the airstaff was updated, original editor on that section mis-spelled the syndicated Tino Cochino Radio program. I have only been to Bakersfield once, and have listened to this station prior to the change in airstaff.
  • I have also caught up to date, local San Diego radio stations, including top 40 station (Channel 933) with callsign KHTS-FM and country station KSON. Most San Diego radio information is accurate, as I use REC databases for callsign history and potential repeaters of said station. EDIT: for better or for worse, you can add Los Angeles and San Francisco to that list, therefore, I am constantly watching any major radio stations across California for new information (you'll thank me later).
  • I have made two page moves so far on radio station articles due to confirmed callsign changes, KYDQ to KARJ, and KCHJ-FM to KQKZ, in that order.

If any radio station articles are still stubs, More information will come when sources are found.

I also authored Template: Userbox/HDRadio user owns (I display the userbox at the top of this page).

Format dispute for KSSX[edit]

To inform everybody, unless Radio insight or All Access states otherwise, KSSX (or JAM'N 95.7) remains an Urban Contemporary station, Key differences between Rhythmic and Urban are: Rhythmic stations play EDM and Mainstream hits Urban stations solely play Hip-Hop and R&B

KSSX ironically changed formats from Rhythmic CHR to Urban in 2016. To ensure the format section in the infobox stays put, I am watching the aforementioned page.

  • I have placed this notice due to an edit war, particularly for the current format of the station, If I had the ability to, I would place protection for that article.

Future Contributions[edit]

I'm monitoring articles pertaining to multiple radio stations in San Diego, and ensuring information is correct, as I'm a San Diego native.

I also intend to create an infobox for internet channels, spanning many streaming platforms. As some BRT systems use the bus company infobox, I will attempt at a BRT infobox as well (since completed). Both infoboxes will be prototyped on my sandbox.
