Akbar-Azam (Twin brothers Akbar and Azam Quadri,born 14th Feb 1984) is a director/writer duo. Born in Orai district of Uttar Pradesh, they pursued Mass Media course from Jamia Millia Islamia followed by a course in direction from FTII. They founded 'Antraal Theatre' in Delhi.

The “Antraal Theatre” is an independent group of theatre artists founded by Akbar Quadri which has been operative in New Delhi since 2007. Antraal is a weekend theatre group, as all the members are either working professionals or students from various fields. Antraal has been working towards social change since last 9 years; it started with a motto of “theatre for social change”. Antraal feels that theatre can contribute to change, so has an instrumental value in bringing together the two distinct worlds of theatre and the social. The theatre for change can bring people together to bridge the difference, heal divisions and shatter stereotypes. Antraal also works in association with National Association for the Blind (NAB) where it takes theatre workshop with the visually impaired students. In addition to this, the group has performed at various national theatre festivals.
