Hi, welcome to my user page..
First and foremost my sincerest thanks to Wikipedia and its founder. They have created a kind of revolution of free knowledge accessible to anyone. Personally for me Wikipedia has become a regular part of my routinized life.
I've deep interest in Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and currently I'm a civil services aspirant. Let me first start by thanking socrates who held that "knowledge is virtue" and he also said that "The only knowledge he has is that he knows nothing". Such a man of great humbleness is bound to say this. Many of us suffer from insecurities within as I have suffered before, we are often afraid of rejection. But, when we deeply introspect ourselves we will find that such insecurities don't exist at all. It is called conquering oneself and taming our mind and wild passions. For me, the goal of life should be to attain "Purusharthas" i.e. to become a gentleman in every sense of term.
Another sage who has greatly influenced me apart from Buddha is shri Ramana Maharshi. Let me say what founder of analytical psychology has said about him...

These greatly inspire me for all my deeds and keeps reminding me that my self need to be emanating always like the sun who shines so brightly and sustains life here.
