Amjad Mehdi is a political activist and a vocal advocate for the rights and recognition of the Seraiki people, who inhabit the Vasaib region of Pakistan. He has highlighted the plight of the flood-affected people in south Punjab, and criticized the government, the media, and the civil society for their negligence and apathy towards the issues faced by the Seraiki people.[1] He is active on social media platforms such as Twitter, where he posts updates and opinions on various topics related to student issues, Saraiki culture, politics, and history.[2] He writes for the Students’ Herald, an online platform that promotes progressive student voices, and covers issues such as education, religion, and politics in his articles.[3][4]
