TELECOMMUNICATION[edit]

Telecommunication is a transmission of data, words, alphabets, sounds and exchange of views via wire, internet, satellite and other electromagnetic interference. Communication begins with the language that conveys matter of thoughts to people over miles of distance. Interaction can even possible without physical presence with the forms of emails, telephone calls, video calls, texts, images and videos.

In an era of 1970s, transferring of information is done through smoke signals and drums in America, Africa and in many parts of Asia. The emerging developed system defines the history of telecommunication for the purpose of sending messages which began with electrical communication.

HISTORY[edit]

In the past decades, homing pigeons have been used significantly to deliver the signals, marked the history along with the different cultures. Used as a responsible carrier of pigeon post, a paper containing a message rolled and attached to the leg of the bird. Homing pigeons are honoured gracefully at wedding ceremonies and sports-related events.

This system develops sending and receiving of letters worldwide. It was introduced before the telegraph, the procedure of communication between stockbroker and other financiers. Also, plays a vital role in post service. Earlier, pigeons are used instead of newspapers, radio, television to deliver the signals and messages.

In the modernization, professional rafting photographers still make a use of pigeons to migrate digital photos in flash media system through the camera in the tourism sector.

Now, technology has taken over the oldest methods of communication. Electronic devices and other mediums are used to reach the masses living in a corner of the world. The era of media has improved techniques to exchange interpersonal thoughts and ideas. The mode of Radio transistor delivers the agenda to even remotest parts across the world.

Since 1894, Radio has become a means of wireless communication, invented by Guglielmo Marconi with an expectation system of radio waves (1901) that could help to exchange information all over the Atlantic Ocean. Sound and music were discovered in 1900.


In 1925, the technique of moving pictures came into existence by John Logie Baird, formed the baseline for broadcaster of television. A promising vision of television was developed by Philo Taylor Farnsworth. From then onwards, television has become a source of entertainment and information sender across the world.

NEWSPAPERS[edit]

A periodical publication called newspaper was established to cover all the data regarding economy, politics, sports, entertainment, art and culture. It has become the cheapest medium to exchange opinions and data all over the globe.

COMPUTER AND THE INTERNET[edit]

During the phase of 1940, many researchers had started testing the technology that helps to generate message throughout the world. It was considered as the major problem and various networks investigators have introduced a revolutionary system of a computer and the internet. In the present time, people can easily operate a PC’s and mobile phone and can convey a message through the internet.
