Ana Maria Marcé Caceres ( Born July 18, 1995) known as Ana Marcé is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. Born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico ( U.S. territory). She began performing in school and local bars doing covers of other Artist. Her first official single "Toxic Love[1]" ​ (2015) is Fusion Pop, produced in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Early Life[edit]

Ana Marcé was born on July 18, 1995 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the youngest child of Pedro Marcé (Santiago de Cuba) and Ana "Rosario" Caceres (Bogota, Colombia). She has two older siblings: Pedro Marcé and Angela Marcé.

Growing up, Marcé showed interest and a big passion for music. As a child, she imitated stars like Shakira, Michael Jackson, RBD, Luis Fonsi, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Carlos Vives and Fonseca to name a few. She attended and all girls school in Puerto Rico, called Colegio Puertorriqueño de Niñas (CPN). The school always shoed the support for her and guided her towards music. In this school is where she officially decided to pursue her passion for music, by taking singing lessons in the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, later on she took classes with Jacqueline Capó (daughter of Bobby Capó and aunt of Pedro Capó) for whom she has a great admiration and friendship. After a few years, Marcé started taking singing lessons with Vocal Coach and Producer Jose Miguel Velasquez, whom she admires greatly.

In 2013, Marcé enrolled at "Universidad del Sagrado Corazon" to study communications. But in 2014, she decided to pursue her passion for music and enrolled at Full Sail University to study Music Production graduating on December, 2017.

Career[edit]

In 2010, Marcé met her favorite artist Shakira in The Sun Comes Out World Tour and danced on stage with her at the concert in Anaheim, California.

During her High School years she spend all of her summers as an intern in RCN Television (in the music studio) Bogota, Colombia. Also played on local Pubs in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In 2012, Marcé released a single called "No Quiero Tu Amor" but later was taken out of the internet. For the next couple of years, Marcé kept working on music, learning about the entertainment business and networking.

November 2015, "Toxic Love​" was officially released.

During the las couple of years Marcé has shown a great love and creativity towards songwriting. It is rumored she will be releasing a new single between December, 2017 and the beginning of 2018.
