Origins[edit]

In June 2000,[1] Ganley created Platform Ltd, (sometimes referred to as Dotcom Platform Ltd[1]) based in Moyne Park, Tuam, County Galway.[1][2] It was a one-stop-shop for e-commerce start-ups.[2][1] By November 2000, the company had been renamed to Rivada Solutions[1] The company raised $35 million[2][1] in funds and the company was valued at $105 million.[1] Investors in the company included the hedge funds that invested in Ganley's Broadnet[1] and Adornis.com,[1] and Ganley Holdings owned approx 60% of it.[2]
