Sivanthanpatti is sitiuated in Gandharvakottai Taluk ,Pudukkaottai District which is sorounded by Mattangal in west Sundampatti in South west Neppugai in South Malligainatham in South East Vembanpatti in East and Puduppatti in North. Sivanthanpatti is Tiny Village which has about 75 Families and Population about 350 people.

The people are known as veerakodi Vellalar,musilim,kallar and Adi Dravidars.The village has an Elementary School which had given basic knowledge to create some Graduates.

It has a Pond which trained swimming many of us in our childhood.It is believed to be protected by Sadaimuni Andavar.

The main source of income of the village is Agriculture.They cultivate in agriculture crops like sugar cane,Paddy,Maize,Ground Nut and Black Gram.they also cultivate in horticulture crops like banana,and water melon.
