Aileen Soares is a school teacher from Karachi, Pakistan. She was educated at St Joseph's Convent School (Karachi) and received Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Karachi.
She started teaching mathematics at St Joseph's Convent School in 1962.[1] On 15 September 2011, the school celebrated its 150th year of founding where she was honored for her 50 years of service as a teacher.[2] As the school’s longest serving teacher she has been able to contribute to one third of its 150 year history.[3] She is only the second Catholic woman in Pakistan (after Norma Fernandes) to reach 50 years as a school teacher.
