I will be editing University of Maryland College of Information Studies [1] . I originally chose this article because I wanted to learn more about the Informational Sciences major under the University of Maryland, and this was the only article that contained this information. This was the only article I could find, which included some information on Information Sciences. There were many important aspects that this article mentioned, however it lacked some material I felt it needed.

Strengths:

The article includes the history of Information Studies as a school at the University of Maryland, including previous Deans, and the year it was established. The article also expands on the struggles of the Information Studies major, including times when the school nearly shut down as a whole. The article does a good job on covering historical information on the topic.

Weaknesses:

The article solely mentions the curriculum of the graduate program. The article should expand more on the Undergraduate program, and career opportunities. The article briefly mentions the undergraduate program of the Bachelor of Science in Information Science, but should expand more on the curriculum and how it is important. Moreover, the article should include more information about the Information Sciences major, it's development throughout history, and it's importance. Additionally, the article does not include future career paths that one may follow. It is important to include future career options for prospective students who want to switch into the major and learn more about the profession.
