Jump to search Kaleemullah Shah Bahmani - (1525-1527) Kaleemullah Shah Bahmani was the last sultan of the Bahmani empire during his time, the sultanate had already declined and broken up into 5 successor states. he did not exercise real authority over the much shrunken up empire,however , he was under the control of Amir Barid I (1504-1542), the sultan of Barid sultanate. The last and final blow to the sultanate was dealt by the ruler of Vijayanagara empire, Krishna deva Raya I, who in 1527 defeated and annexed the sultanate to his domain
