John Anthony Anzalone (born in 1976) is an American principal, husband, father, and Democratic politician from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was appointed to his first principalship in August 2009, to Cowan Behavior Jr/Sr HS, that was composed of students from the southeast portion of the valley. Anzalone became the principal at Global Community HS in 2011, serving English language learners from across the Las Vegas valley. He was then appointed as principal of Eldorado HS in October 2012, leading the school to a 70% graduation rate in less than 3 years, from a 46% rate when he began. Recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by Vegas Inc., Anzalone has led Sierra Vista HS to a 89% graduation rate and a complete culture change in the 3 years spent serving as principal. Moreover, he was involved in the process of establishing the Clark County Association of School Administrators School Safety Committee and organized the Student Safety Summit in September of 2017.

Before being appointed as a high school principal, Anzalone taught middle school social studies, served as dean of students at Becker MS, was coordinator of the Office of Student Adjudication, and held several public service positions, including president-elect of the Nevada Association of School Administrators (NASA), which included lobbying in Washington, D.C. for Title II funds and mental health assistance for Nevada students.
