So Far[edit]

I was born in Essex, UK in 1957. I'm largely retired now, but I do some freelance photography and teaching of IT. I used to work in the datacomms industry, firstly at Imperial College and later in a company called Netcomm which made X.25 and ATM equipment.

I've recently returned to programming to write a program (Film Free Projection) to run camera club competitions using a laptop and digital projector.

Interests[edit]

I'm interested in computers, photography, popular science, cricket, the Beatles and trivia - at least these are the areas of Wikipedia I seem to take the most interest in!

I'm currently the main author of The Beatles' influence on music recording.
