Emigrant Crossing Station was a Butterfield Overland Mail Company station on Captain Pope's New Road from Franklin to Horse Head Crossing or Upper Road, in what is now Ward County, Texas. The station was located 65 miles down the east bank of the Pecos River from Pope's Camp Station, and 55 miles upstream from Horse Head Crossing Station.[1]
