Ato Ben and SISIMBOM Band, we are the custodians of Ghana's musical heritage, taking you on a captivating journey through the heart of West African rhythms and melodies. With a passion for music that ignited fresh out of high school in 1993, Ato Ben's dedication to the craft has led him to share the stage with renowned musicians such as Amakye Dede, Gyedu Blay Ambuley, and Ofori Amponsah. Ato Ben is not only a talented singer and songwriter but also a virtuoso keyboardist (pianist), captivating audiences with his soulful compositions. SISIMBOM Band is the powerhouse behind Ato Ben's musical vision. Established in 2013, our band was born from the idea of blending the original highlife rhythms of Ghana with other African influences. Our distinctive style, known as "SISIMBOM Highlife," is a reflection of both the central and western regions of Ghana. The term "SISIMBOM" is a nod to the fishermen of these regions, who use the word to boost their morale during their demanding work. Our band comprises nine talented musicians under a vibrant management team, all dedicated to crafting a unique musical experience.
