The Star Book for Ministers in an instructional book for ministers, chiefly of the Baptist denomination. Published by Edward Thurston Hiscox in 1878 and still in print.

The book was first published in 1878 by Ward & Drummond.

It was revised in 1906, by Griffith & Rowland and again in 1994. The current revision was completed in 2014.

Contents

The book contains "Suggestions to Ministers— Weddings, Funerals, Visitation of the Sick, Councils, Ordinations, Dedications" as well as selections of scripture for use in celebrations and memorials.

There is also a chapter covering the Episcopal burial service, forms for marriages, Parliamentary rules, and a selection of ecclesiastical forms and blanks.

There are also sections containing various facts and figures.
