Who am I?[edit]

I am...

  a college freshman, currently attending Georgia Southern which really isn't as much of a party  
  school as everyone makes it out to be..or STD infested.

I came from...

  Lawrenceville, Georgia where i grew up with a brother and a sister. I am the only hearing one 
  in my fully deaf family and i graduated from Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia with  
  a 3.4 GPA.

The plan ...

  is to finish out my undergraduate degree in chemistry, find a job in forensic science, to get 
  married to the man of my dreams, and have no more than 4 kids.

Reality sucks...

  currently i am single, i haven't found a single guy that interests me here at southern, i am 
  struggling in my chemistry class(which wouldn't be so bad if i was not a chemistry major), and 
  i wish there were more parties down here in this small town.

What have I done for Wikipedia?[edit]

For Wikipedia i have added amazing information about a school called Georgia School for the Deaf, grammar edits to pages like helicopters and Collins Hill High School and last but not least added information to a few of these sites like dermatology, daisy duke, and Peachtree Ridge High School. I plan to continue adding information to the Georgia School for the Deaf page as time goes on, and hopefully improving it. My next step for the page is to find out more about what the school does for the deaf children and what other activities there are.

Me & technology ♥[edit]

Ever since i was young i have never had an issue with learning about technology. I know pretty much how to work all the programs i need that are on my computer. If i have not seen a program before then i might take a few minutes before i get the hang of it but definitely not days. I love getting text messages and talking on face book chat but when i get a letter in the mail i am always excited.

Oh Wikipedia...[edit]

I honestly can say that before this class I never used Wikipedia on a regular basis. In high school i was never allowed to use Wikipedia because it was not a "reliable" source. I am not sure how i feel about Wikipedia now but i do not see myself using it very much outside of this class. I do think that Wikipedia is not something you should cite in a college paper because Wikipedia gets its information from other places and we would not be citing those if we just cited Wikipedia, plus if Wikipedia can find it...we can too it might just take a little effort.

¡Hola!, ¿Como Estas?[edit]

My main Language is English. It is what i use on a daily basis to get me through the day and to understand the people around me, my peers and my professors. In high school i took 2 Spanish classes and thanks to them i can speak and understand a little bit of Spanish, and i have not completely forgotten it all. All my life i grew up around Sign Language so i know a good bit of that. I would not say that i know every word in Sign Language but i know a good bit.

I am very headstrong, stubborn, and I love to get my way. I am confident in what i write and i do not like it when i am not properly recognized for it. I am vey open to constructive criticism. I get all of these traits from my parents and me being a Leo. Some other things about me: I love reading, cupcakes are my favorite dessert (that or ice-cream:) haha), I have played a variety of sports, I love penguins, I have always wanted a baby tiger cub or a monkey, and lastly I love all kinds of music, but especially country.
