Jennifer Moon plot[edit]

Jennifer Moon (born 1973) is a Los Angeles-based visual artist and reality artist. She grew raised in Lafayette, Indiana, and received her BA and Master's degrees from UCLA and Art Institute College of Art, respectively.Her work explored the founfers of ethico-epistemologyies through organizations systems as well as how these systems are intertwined, co-constituion enacted,and maintained bodies. Moon held her first solo art display in 1996, and her art was consistently exhibited till 2002. Moon was convicted to 18 months in the Valley State Prison for Women in 2008, following many unsuccessful robberies, after getting a master's degree from Art Center.Jennifer Moon changed her creative approach after serving nine months in jail for armed burglary in 2008 and 2009. Moon started to go within, relying on her experience in founding the Revolutionary, a group that aims to create a global shift in thinking via love, mindfulness, and empowerment. Moon utilizes the Revolution in performances, videos, literature, and sculpture to convey her unusual perspective with the public, fusing political philosophy, self-help, and imagination.

Education/Carrers[edit]

In 1993, she had her first show at UCLA, and it was also her first life-art project. It started with a 3 show in which I pretended to be Deedra Swan, CEO of Deedra Inc., a company that specialized in covert operatives and operations. Electra, the ultimate undercover spy, and Jennifer, Deedra's cigarette roommate, were two additional identities I portrayed, but Deedra was my everyday identity. There were regular newsletters, films, T-shirts, a comic book, and a cocktail party for investors at UCLA's Griffin Commons Grand Ballroom, where Deedra sang in her band, Deedra and the Galaxies, and Electra demonstrated her martial arts talents to investors. Principle 1 of The Revolution Definition of Abundance (2012) and Where I Learned of Love (2012) were released in 2012 as part of the a show at Commonwealth and Council, a Los Angeles art gallery (2012). Moon released The Handbook of Eros as one of her presentation to the Art Museum's Created in LA Biennale show in 2014. (2014). [6] Moon has hosted a quarterly radio talk show on KCHUNG Audio since 2012, initially known as Journeys Within[7] and now known as Adventures With You, where she discusses love, bodily issues, race, trauma, and politics. The Revolution, a "style of being" put forth in two principles, is the cornerstone of Moon's practice for example ; Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles (2017); Machine Project, Los Angeles (2015); Equitable Vitrines, Los Angeles (2014); and Transmission Gallery, Glasgow, Scotland (2013). Selected group exhibitions include AHL Foundation, New York (2019); Tina Kim Gallery, New York (2018); Southern Exposure, San Francisco (2016) and many more
