Proposal for Wikiproject: Veterinary Biology

Key points:

1. Wikipedia has categories for Veterinary medicine and Animal anatomy; most articles of this relation are being categorised generally, by family or animal. We need to organise pages for Veterinary Biology into their own unique place.
2. It would serve us better to organise the two previously mentioned categories into a wikiproject, since this would allow all these articles to be referenced in one place, rather than searching numberous different categories and subcategories.

My proposal

I propose the starting of a Wikiproject relating to Veterinary Biology. The primary reason this project would be useful to Wikipedia is that we have lots of different articles listed under Dog health, Cat health, Horse health, etc, but no central project looking after all these articles, and no central reference point to go to for them.

I am an ex-veterinary student of two years (Large animal) and would consider it to be most advantageous to get other practising veterinarians and veterinary students, as well as people related in the professon such as veterinary nurses, anaesthesiologists and anyone else interested in animal health under one Wikiroof.
