Parley A.I.R Strategy

[edit]

In (need exact date) Adidas began partnering with Parley for the Oceans to produce athletic shoes and clothing that are partially created with recycled marine debris.[1] In May 2017 Adidas released UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley, a limited release shoe that reuse approximately 11 bottles per pair.[2] Of the partnership, Adidas' executive Eric Liedtke has stated that he wanted to create "sustainable solutions for big global problems".[3] The company has further stated that they want to eliminate virgin plastic from their supply chain altogether and hope to expand its plastic cultivation to much more of their product line.[4]
