BeeKyoo is the spelled out version of Bryan Quillen's initials. BQ = Bee Kyoo = BeeKyoo. The short version of this name is "Beek". The lengthy spelling turned nickname of Bryan originated from his best friend's, Matt Cremeans, now ex girlfriend, Maggie Patterson. The name stuck like glue, and was soon after creation in 2006, used as the YouTube channel name that he would continue to use today. The name was shortened by lazy friends, and is now the name most everyone knows him by, including the fraternity he is in, Pi Kappa Phi.
Beek is a college student who spends his time making youtube videos, writing, and spending time with his friends. Beek attends Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky, and is on his way to becoming a high school English teacher.
