Benjamin R. Gorski a high school sophomore at Wheaton Warrenville South High School, interested in golf and music theory.



Golf Career[edit]

Ben Gorski started his golfing career at the age of 7, starting off playing at Cantigny Youth Links and Kenlock golf course. Going into 2016 Gorski join the Wheaton Warrenville South JV Boys team starting at number six out of ten players. Gorski's notable scores freshman year included, 41 at bliss creek golf club, in sugar grove Il. 41 at Naperbrook and 43 at Springbrook golf club both in Naperville Illinois.

Gorski's Sophomore season was very different from freshman year by improving his game. After Try-Outs Gorski was second on the JV boys team but spent most of season as the third and fourth spot. Notable scores from this season include a 37 at flagg creek golf club and 38 at a team round at Bartlett hills golf club.

Gorski has been apart of the Illinois Junior Golf Association(IJGA) since may of 2017.

Music[edit]

Gorski started his music career listening to the Canadian rock band Rush and Guns n' Roses around the age of 6, At the eight of ten Gorski started piano lessons but found a lack of interest. In 2013 at the age of eleven Gorski was inspiried to start playing Alto saxophone, although to this day he still continues to perform for the Wheaton Warrenville South wind ensemble. During the summer of 2016 Gorski performed as a guest in the Wheaton Municiple band. During his years at Edison Junior High Gorski learned to play Alto, Baritone, and Tenor saxophone, Flute and Drums. Gorski has stated that Neil Peart, from the rock band Rush, has inspirited him to play drums and to continue music.

Family History[edit]

Benjamin Robert Gorski was born February 23 2002 by Kathleen M. Gorski and Peter M. Gorski. Benjamin, Ben, Ben Go, has one sibling Nathaniel Gorski. The family descent is 25% Scandinavian, 25% Slovak and 50% German. Gorski's parents relation was close and grew up with them the entirety of his youth. Gorski developed a sincere love for the 1980's based on his parents past experiences and stories. Kathleen is an assistant dean at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove Illinois and Peter Works for Acco Brands at Lincolnshire Illinois.
