==Hello and welcome I am a returning contributor Wiki, after several years of light or non-existent editing I am returning to Wiki a few nights a week. I have opened a new (and only) account. The old account went with my partner, But hey I got the dogs!!

Content, content, content!! ha! I really enjoy new articles, almost as much as I enjoy when someone with unique experience and knowledge adds content to a established article I thought I knew (read wiki) about.

In fact one of my pet peeves is "chasing away new contributors" just such a bummer when a new excited contributor has their entry torn apart for form by a well meaning editor. I feel as a community, editors should welcome new contributors and offer some praise for new work along with helpful advice.

To often we can find ourselves spending all our time correcting entrys instead of putting up content. In fact one of the great joys of wiki is the hunt for content, think you know everthing about Bruce Lee or continental drift? go do some research and find out some more then rush right back here and tell Wiki! The more often you put your own content up and have it massaged by others you will remember how it feels when you make corrections on other editors entrys.

==Rule of thumb If you find that the number of your corrections of other peoples work is more the twice the the number of entrys in which you add content, take stock. You might have fallen into the trap of the know it all and the post nothing, What good is knowing everything about wiki rules and not knowing more about the world. After all, Wiki is not about Wiki, it is about the whole world of knowledge out there, wiki is just the platform to engage the tremendous knowlege that we all have as a collective.
