Spirit’s Revenge is a 90-minute movie about an evil spirit who mysteriously murdered people who were cheating on their spouses.
This feature was shot during the pandemic in Nashville. The release date was December 27, 2022. It was written by Bridget Vaughan and directed by Tommy Barnes, starring Alex Van Zelandt and Joshua Cordle.
Zoey, who’s married, finds herself falling for a married man, named Craig. They were very sexually compatible. Craig and Zoey’s relationship is jeopardized after hearing several news reports about folks who died because they were having an affair. Zoey insists that they should kill their spouses so they can be together without being considered as adulterers. Craig refuses to kill his wife. Zoey, who isn’t a caring person, has a mission to kill her husband, who is much older and is Viagra dependent. Craig’s wife suspects him of cheating, but yet tells him she’d rather die than go through a divorce.
As Craig and Zoey continue their relationship, they find themselves being haunted with weird episodes when they are together and apart. Zoey becomes paranoid about her infidelity and has dreams about being “fatally stabbed” by her husband and an evil Spirit. Both Zoey and Craig suspect that they are on a “kill list.”
Authorities were unable to determine the mysterious culprit despite there being a huge reward. Craig’s wife commits suicide and in turn, Zoey fatally poisons her husband. When she finally feels that she’s free to be with Craig, the female Spirit appears in person, and confesses to killing adulterers because she was killed by her husband and his girlfriend. The Spirit kills Zoey, and assumes her identity so that “she” can be with Craig, get married and have his babies.
