Bhadauria Manish Singh ( born on 3rd December 1982) is one of the recent Indian English poets of our time. He is a bilingual poet, short story writer and educator. For him his poems is his communion with his inner self and surroundings. The people, nature and problems around find voice in his poems. He too believes that work of an artist can never remain or can be created in vacuum. There must be some social, religious and personal postulates which define, design and shape the outcome. He believes his poems try to become the voice of voiceless. Manish singh came to literary arena only after reaching the age of 32. Although he is always passionate about literature, written few dramas at school level and performed in some of them, he never wrote a poem till reaching the doorstep of his P.hD. While choosing the topic for his doctoral study he chose the veteran poet Jayanta Mahapatra, one of the three pioneers of Indian English poetry. He honestly agrees that this was his first serious romance with Indian English poetry. He came in contact with the persona through letters. These letters and talk inspired him to write. He believes, it is the touch of Jayanta Mahapatra, which did the magic so reader will always find impact and influence of his guru's strong imagery and language in his poems.
