This is a list of SpongeBob SquarePants special episodes. This list is purely a reference while I undertake the (re)creation of the individual episode articles that were redirected because they failed to establish notability. The special episodes were heavily marketed by Nickelodeon and usually aired in prime time. This attracted more attention in the press than standard episodes and would therefore be able to pass the inclusion criteria.
