Doing outreach to teachers in middle school and high school to increase Wikipedia literacy and critical thinking skills and decrease harmful "don't trust it" mantra. This is probably the biggest thing that harms our brand. How about a 30 second Superbowl ad? ;-)
Following, like twitter, a custom set of editors one selects. For example, after an outreach event where new editors register accounts, this could be used to see if any new recruits are editing. If they are, then they could be supported. This could be done by adapting the technology embedded in the WP:Education Program extension. Can it also be done by creating a customized watchlist for a group of editors, so that it merges all recent contributions from a cohort of editors? This capability has value in measuring outreach success. It can also encourage productive teamwork. Let's say you like working with a group of 8 people from WP:WikiProject Medicine. If you can follow eight of those individuals to see where there recent edits are, you will know where you might best lend a helping hand. As it is, one would have to go to eight separate pages to see this information in its current form.
Similarly, we need WikiProject watchlists. Why is this not already available?
Partnering with airlines so that Wikipedia is the only freely-available site on flights. Have editing capability available. In exchange... ask volunteers to get the English Wikipedia article up to good status?
