-This text focuses primarily on seeing how the effects of internal firm mentoring helps junior attorneys and if there is any correlation from firm size, partner age and a myriad of other factors. It’s very stats-based, but good to read and get a perspective of what mentoring can entail and it’s potential effectiveness.

-This is an actual textbook used to discuss mentoring within the workplace. It’s useful because it has anecdotes, uses data to back up claims and presents multiple perspectives/approaches to approach mentoring.

A Meta-Analytic Investigation of Gender Differences in Mentoring

-This study from the Journal of Management looks at the effects of mentoring and protégée-ship from a gender perspectives and the social, physiological and wealth implications over time. It’ll be useful because it’s from a respectable public management journal, something that is pretty generalized and relatable to all professions.

This will be relevant to us because it focuses on ethics in a public field and it is a relatively recent source compared to the others.

This source comes from an article regarding how to behave ethically when acting in the public service- it is directly relevant to our focus.

This source comes from a textbook over leadership and ethics- it is relevant because almost all public administrations need to know the basics of leadership, as it is a big part of the job.
