Who I am[edit]

Blibdoolpoolp was the patron goddess of the kuo-toa in DND lore. She is described as "a paranoid, reality-denying deity of the sea of questionable sanity".[1] Note that my username was inspired by this fictional goddess purely on the basis that her name sounds droll, but stands in no relation to the work I will be doing on Wikipedia.

As a student at the University of Freiburg and a member of OberMegaTrans's summer semester 2024 Translating Wikipedia seminar, I aim to complete translations from German to English, upgrading my English and Wikipedia skills and maybe even expanding upon the already rich stock of knowledge within this online encyclopedia.

Some facts about me:

  • I study both English and philosophy/ethics (double major).
  • I am an undergraduate student.
  • My current interests involve literature, languages and culture, theology, culinary culture and music.
  • I play multiple instruments, namely the violin and the piano.
  • I speak multiple languages on different levels. I am actively learning Croatian, Japanese and Latin.
  • I love cats. I own an orange tabby who I cherish dearly.
