Brenda Kaye Pierce (Born August 25, 1958) is an American Singer/Songwriter, Co-Record Producer, best known for co-writing and backing vocals for "The Real Ghostbusters Cartoon released in 1986.

Born in the West Coast city of Oxnard, CA., She began singing, writing and playing piano at the age of 12 and was greatly influenced by her mother, the church pianist who encouraged her to take lessons, sing, play, direct the choir and study composition, notation and arrangements.
