Life Of Bright-D a.k.a Bright Diamond

Born and raised in the ghettos of Jinja, Uganda. Known professionally as Bright-D (iamond). Rapper, singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. Music has always been part of Bright-D's life. He comes from a musical family all his uncles and cousins were either DJs, Rappers, singers or other musicians. He came into contact with music at an early age, visiting gigs and concerts of his uncles and cousins. Not only that, but he started writing his own lyrics at the tender age of eight, inspired by his older sister and older brother (who passed away in 2014; may his soul rest in peace; we all love you). Rapping and singing in the shower. Fed up with her child recording on old dusty cassette recorders, his mother worked hard to be able to afford expensive sessions at a high-standard studio called B-Note Entertainment in Bern, Switzerland where he moved in 2002 from Uganda, which was the first time he cut a professional record. In 2006, he joined a music group popularly known as "NEW JACK" in Switzerland, known by their first hit singles "Iz Gettin' Down", "We Fly" "Africa" "Celebrate" etc. and their album "D.O.P.E" were the first youngest and hottest artists in the country. In 2008, Bright-D decided to build his own studio right in his bedroom at his parent's house to avoid running into other people's studios where he had to sit and wait for appointments. He began releasing singles every week and mixtapes constantly; some of his tapes known as "NO PEN" had over 20 songs on it and "POWER OF A DIAMOND". In the same studio, he invited his crew, NEW JACK and recorded their real first mixtape, "RULES BEFORE THE BOMB" which was also mixed, mastered and produced by Bright-D. He later went solo and started gaining more recognition internationally. He has performed on some of the greatest stages in Europe and in Switzerland, like the Gurten Festival (CH), the Open Air Frauenfeld (CH), the Royal Arena Biel (CH), Wireless (UK), Sziget Festival (Hungary),

We Love Green Festival (France), Heroes Festival ( Germany), Melkweg (Amsterdam), Italy, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Turkey, Dubai, Africa, Jamaica, USA, etc. also collaborated with high-level industry producers. Diamond has worked with some of the biggest international artists. In 2022, he finally dropped his first solo Album "TASTE OF DIAMOND" featuring 2 top megastars, Beenie Man and Wizkid who appeared on track no. 9 on the Album song titled "KILLING ME SLOWLY". His Album successfully made millions of views on YouTube, including music videos and streams on Spotify, together with his record label, TMC Records, worldwide. Some of his songs were placed on former President Barack Obama's summer playlist. As a music addict and a hard-working artist, he remains enjoying his career, touring around the world, producing, recording and making more music as usual, feeding his fans globally and always being thankful for your support on this crazy amazing journey that's been and is still continuing.
