For the Wikipedia assignment, I plan on contributing to the Wiki article on Leidos, which is American defense company that is locally based. I decided to contribute to this article because Leidos is the company that I am interning with this summer. When I reviewed the existing Leidos Wikipedia page, I noted that the groups or divisions of Leidos were not included. For this assignment, I plan on including the four primary groups of this company: (1) the Civil Group, (2) the Defense and Intelligence Group, (3) the Health Group, and (4) the Advanced Solutions group. The Civil group focuses on aviation systems and their applications, high-level infrastructure logistics and support, cybersecurity, facility operations and management, energy engineering, environmental management, secure transportation measures, and IT modernization. The Defense and Intelligence Group provides solutions to issues regarding air service coverage, intelligence services and analysis, geospatial analytics, command and control, and cybersecurity and airborne defense. The Health Group focuses on clinical workflow optimization, data security, collection and storage optimization, and IT modernization. The Advanced Solutions Group focuses on data analysis, advanced system integration, surveillance, autonomy, and reconnaissance. I will condense the aforementioned information and add it to the Leidos Wiki page.
