Hello, I am a retired Civil Engineer. I have worked in the fields of bridge construction and maintenance, highway construction, deep water dredging and structural engineering throughout the UK, as well as in the African and Asian continents. I retain a keen interest in railways and railway modelling and am currently writing a book about railway structures; primarily aimed at the railway modeller.
